Fernando Garcia de Cortázar, José Manuel González Vesga

Fernando Garcia de Cortazar Born in 1942 in Bilbao. He has graduated in the law and in philosophy; doctor in modern and contemporary history, doctor in theology. A lecturer in modern history at the Deusto University, a corresponding member of the Royal Academy of History, he has published some 30 books and has worked on a number of historical TV series, like, for instance, the series of 30 films on "Spain in War", of which he is also a co-author, as well as of 4 sequences of the serial "The Civil War in the Country of the Basques". He is bearer of the National Award for History, conferred to him by the Spanish Ministry of Culture for his book "History of Spain via the Arts", illustrated with almost 600 art reproductions and photos.
